My First entry I want to discuss the state of the entertainment industry today: What ever happened to the soulful singers of yesterday? You know the Luther Vandrosses, the Lionel Richies, even the brian Mcknights? I'm not trying to take anything from singers like Bruno Mars, Neyo, and Chris Brown but they come across as either more pop or hip hop then soulful R&B. I miss the songs of old where they evoked emotion and feelings of love and sorrow. One song that always comes to mind is Lenny Williams "cause I love you" ...just the way he sang that song from the deepest depth of his heart, truly inspired young love..please feel free to share your thoughts
